Tinubu Redeploys Daniel Bwala After Controversial Interview

President Bola Tinubu has re-designated the positions of two recently appointed officials in the State House media and communications team to enhance efficiency within the government’s communication machinery.

The Special Adviser to the president on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga in a statement on Monday night said the president has redeployed newly appointed Daniel Bwala from Special Adviser on Media and and Communication to Special Adviser on Policy Communication.

Similarly, Mr. Sunday Dare, hitherto Special Adviser on Public Communication and National Orientation is now Special Adviser, Media and Public Communications.

The statement reads, ” These appointments, along with the existing role of Special Adviser, Information and Strategy , underscore that there is no single individual spokesperson for the Presidency.

” Instead, all the three Special Advisers will collectively serve as spokespersons for the government.

” This approach aims to ensure effective and consistent communication of government policies, decisions, and engagements.”

RAYOPOST recalled that Bwala who resumed on Monday after his appointment addressed State House press corps where he declared himself as the official spokesperson of the president and a replacement for Ajuri Ngalale who resigned as media and publicity earlier.

Also, Monday night on Channels Television Politics Today Program, Bwala appeared and reiterated his appointment as the spokesperson of the president.

It was gathered that these statement by Bwala infuriated the communication team of the presidency and pressured the president to make the redeployment.
