Steve Oribamise Hails President Bola Tinubu’s Transformative Impact on Ekiti State

President Bola Tinubu’s administration has made significant strides in infrastructure development and economic growth in Ekiti State, Mr. Steve Oribamise has said.

 

Oribamise, who spoke to newsmen in Ado Ekiti noted that President Tinubu’s
intervention projects have improved the quality of life for residents, boosted economic activities, and enhanced the state’s overall development.

 

According to him, one notable area of focus for President Tinubu’s administration is road infrastructure development, pointing out that Governor Biodun Oyebanji has acknowledged the president’s support in upgrading Ekiti’s road network, citing the federal government’s additional funding as a key factor in the state’s progress.

 

He listed some ongoing road projects to include Ado-Iworoko-Ifaki Road project being undertaken by the Ekiti State Government with an estimated cost of over ₦15 billion and ongoing Ado -Ikare road.

 

Mr. Oribamise also noted that President Tinubu’s administration has also made significant contributions to Ekiti’s energy sector even as Governor Oyebanji reported that his administration has reconnected over 50 communities to the power grid, providing electricity to thousands of households and businesses.

 

He said it is a welcome development that the president has approved the establishment of a Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences in Iyin Ekiti, which is expected to drive research, innovation, and human capital development in the state.

 

This move, he said, is seen as a significant step towards advancing education and addressing the state’s skill gaps.

 

“President Bola Tinubu’s intervention projects in Ekiti State demonstrate his commitment to improving the lives of Nigerians and driving economic growth.

 

His administration’s efforts in road infrastructure development, electrification, education, and economic empowerment have had a positive impact on the state, and residents have expressed gratitude for his support”, he said.
