Rural Electrification: Okitipupa Lawmaker, Chris Ayebusiwa Begins Fixing of Faulty Transformers In Constituency

As part of his efforts to improve on power efficiency within Okitipupa Constituency I, the member of the State House of Assembly representing Okitipupa Constituency I, Chris Ayebusiwa, has commenced the fixing of faulty electrical transformers.

The lawmaker, on Sunday, announced this development in a statement released on his verified Facebook page, noting that the effort is being made to complement government’s primary roles in making power available and its delivery effective.

The statement reads: “In furtherance of our modest efforts to complement government’s primary roles in power provision and its effective delivery, we are presently fixing faulty transformers hitherto in disrepair due to long-term neglect and theft of critical components.

“This effort is in addition to the on-going rural electrification project within the constituency. Though financially demanding, we are enduringly grateful to friends, colleagues and associates who share our vision of improved constituency and so giving various and steady support.”

Hon. Ayebusiwa thanked the governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for what he described as his resolve to have citizens enjoy tangible democratic dividends and which serves as his steady encouragements.

 

“Many thanks to the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, who, in clear terms, has expressed his resolve to have citizens enjoy tangible democratic dividends and, to this extent, giving necessary encouragements.” Ayebusiwa said.
