Prophet Ayodele Didn’t Condemn Governor Oyebanji Over Rice Palliatives – Ikere LGA Boss, Adamolekun

The leadership of Ikere Local Government of Ekiti state has debunked media reports claiming that the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele condemned the Governor Biodun Oyebanji over planned rice distribution in the state.

The chairman of main Ikere LGA, Hon. Olu Adamolekun and his counterpart in Ikere West LCDA, Hon. Rufus Olorunfemi in a joint statement on Friday described the report attributed to the revered cleric as fake, incorrect and should be disregarded.

Adamolekun who was present at the charity engagement event in Ikere-Ekiti where Prophet Ayodele was said to have made the misleading reports , noted that the cleric was full of praise for the governor over his achievements and predicted that he would win his second term election in 2026.

The statement reads, ” Our lovely and amiable Governor has been recognized both within and outside the state as the best who has demonstrated his unwavering love for the people of the state.

” As chairmen of Ikere Council Area, we are in love with our Governor who has done creditably well to our people especially at the grassroots and we have no reason to think otherwise, it has not been this good in recent years for our state.

” Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji is our pride in Ekiti state and the cleric at the event alluded to this fact and equally said that he will be reelected for a second term in the state and also urged him to consider Ikere community after his second term in office

” We urge members of the public to disregard the report in its entirety, just as we reiterate that the popular cleric never confronted or mentioned the governor’s name over palliative rice and distribution, which the state as of now has not even received.”
