A Member of the House of Representatives, Denis Idahosa has emerged as the All Progressives candidate for the September 21 Edo governorship election.
Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo, the Chairman of the APC Edo governorship primary election committee, said this at the end of the election on Saturday in Benin.
Uzodimma said that Idahosa in the Direct primary election on Saturday scored 40,4483 votes to defeat eight others aspirants in the race
Idahosa, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Healthcare Services, Dennis Idahosa, is backed by former National Chairman of APC and Senator representing Edo North Adams Oshiomhole.
