A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Surv Niran Akinniyi has mourned the passing of the Secretary to the State Government of Ondo state, Hon Tayo Oluwatuyi popularly known as Tuykana.
The APC chieftain in a statement said, ” We received with extreme shock and sorrow the news of the untimely death on Saturday 04 January 2024, of the Secretary to the Ondo State Government, SSG, Hon. Tayo Oluseye Oluwatuyi (fondly known as Tukana).
” Tukana’s sudden transition, at a time his masquerade was just midway into his “dances” with rising ovations but yet far from the ultimate, is as distressing as baffling to a state and his people who hold affectionate memories of his amiable mien and exemplary records of public service and classic leadership. For Hon. Temitayo, was a veteran political grassroots mobiliser and icon, night has finally come! And with a horrifying haste!!
” Our heartfelt condolences go to his wife and children (may God lighten up the darkness currently envelope their world as a result of this irreparable loss) as well as the Governor and people of the Ondo State and in particular Akure Kingdom whom Hon. Oluwatuyi served variously as LG Chairman, Hon. State Commissioner and SSG.
May God rest his soul.
