Ahead of the scheduled April 20,2024 governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) , a leading governorship aspirant, Brigadier General Felix Olamide Ohunyeye (Rtd) PhD has obtained his expression of interest and nomination forms.
Ohunyeye, who was at the APC national secretariat on Tuesday to obtain the forms, appreciated the people of the state for their support during his consultations across the state.
A statement from his campaign committee reads; ” Excitement filled the air today April 2, 2024, as Brigadier General Felix Olamide Ohunyeye (Rtd) took a significant step towards his political aspirations by obtaining the APC governorship form.
Surrounded by a supportive entourage of friends and associates, the atmosphere was one of celebration and jubilation around the APC Headquarters, Abuja.
During his address to his loyal supporters, Dr. Ohunyeye expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming encouragement he had received during his consultations across the state.
He credited this support as the driving force behind his decision to enter the gubernatorial race. Urging party members to stand by him during the upcoming primary election, he promised a NEW AGE of governance that would prioritize the well-being and progress of the people of Ondo state.”
