Prominent gubernatorial aspirant in Ondo State, Omo’ba Jimi Odimayo, made a significant stride in his campaign as he touched down at Okitipupa Local Government Area yesterday.
With unwavering confidence, he reiterated his commitment to securing the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket in the forthcoming primaries.
During his visit, Odimayo engaged with supporters and sought the endorsement of APC executives, recognizing the pivotal role they play in the political landscape. He emphasized the importance of unity within the party to achieve their collective goals and ensure victory in the upcoming elections.
Furthermore, Odimayo took the opportunity to update constituents on ongoing developmental projects in the Okitipupa/Irele federal constituency highlighting the progress of a 4KM road construction initiative, aimed at enhancing transportation infrastructure within the constituency.
Additionally, he announced plans for the construction of a modern laboratory and outlined various other noble projects in the pipeline, showcasing his commitment to improving the socio-economic landscape of Okitipupa and Irele local governments.
In addressing the issue of unemployment, particularly among the youth, Odimayo disclosed that over thirty youths will receive employment letters in the coming weeks.
He commended the APC excos for their warm reception and words of assurance while enjoining his supporters to intensify grassroots mobilization efforts ahead of the primaries.
