The city of Akure was agog yesterday as the leading and foremost governorship aspirant in Ondo State, Dr. Paul Akintelure, stormed the Correspondent Chapel to have an interactive session with the Press.
Thus, he was received with a warm welcome by the leaders and members of the DPA in Ondo State who had gathered in their large numbers at the venue.
The event was characterized by funfare and a sense of camaraderie, as the people expressed their support for his vision and plans for the state.
Dr. Paul,at the interactive session with the press outlined his developmental programs for the state.
He spoke extensively about his plans to improve education, healthcare,Workers welfare, Agriculture,Pensioners Support System and infrastructures.He also revealed his plans on how to generate massive employment for young graduate every year which will have multiplier effect that will banish unemployment in the state in other to ensure a better future for the people of Ondo State.
After the press interaction, Dr. Paul visited the three zones of Ifedore Local Government Area in succession, where he was greeted warmly by the DPA leaders lead by the indefatigable former Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly,Rt.Hon.Ayo Agbonmuserin.Other leaders that in the entourage are Dr Adeluse Obe and Hon.Segun Ojunrongbe.
The governorship aspirant use the opportunity of the visit to address the party faithful, sharing his plans and vision for the state.
The reception accorded Dr. Paul by the DPA leaders and members demonstrates the growing support for his governorship aspirations.
