Ahead of the November 16 governorship election in Ondo state, the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Agboola Ajayi has named a member of the House of Representatives, Hon Festus Akingbaso as his running mate for the election.
Akingbaso is the lawmaker representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal constituency in the green chamber.
RAYOPOST had reported two weeks ago that the PDP candidate had submitted name of one of his aides, Sam Ogunmusi as a placeholder to meet the deadline by INEC.
Ogunmusi’s name will now be replaced with Akingbaso ahead of the June 18 deadline by INEC.
The lawmaker who is a former member of the State House of Assembly is from Idanre , in the Central Senatorial District.
