Brigadier General Olamide Ohunyeye (Rtd) has felicitated with an elder statesman and former governor of Osun state, Chief Adebisi Akande, on his 85th birthday.
Ohunyeye, an All Progressive Congress 2024 governorship aspirant in Ondo State, described Chief Akande as a thoroughbred politician who has carved his name in gold through exemplary leadership qualities.
Commending the Ila Orangun born politician for his people oriented initiatives, he equally hailed him for his unblemished records while serving in the private and public services.
He noted that the first interim chairman of APC’s wealth of experience in politics and wise counsel will continue to be a valuable asset in the quest for national development.
The seasoned administrator in a statement said, “I join the family, friends, and associates of Pa Bisi Akande to congratulate him on his 85th birthday. Chief Akande is a thoroughbred politician who has carved his name in gold through his exemplary leadership qualities, which will continue to guide the new breed of leaders in our dear country to success

Dr Ohunyeye prayed for a longer life, good health, and comfort for Chief Akande, urging him not to relent in contributing his quota to national development.
