Excitement As Ex-ADP Reps Aspirant, Omolola Femi-Ogun Joins APC In Ilawe-Ekiti

It was amidst excitement and jubilation on Tuesday in Ilawe-Ekiti, as a former House of Representatives aspirant in Ekiti state, Mrs Omolola Femi-Ogun defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Action Democratic Party (ADP).

 

Femi-Ogun , who was the house of representatives candidate for Ekiti South federal constituency 1 in the 2023 general election joined the APC and her hundreds of supporters at an event in Ilawe-Ekiti, Ekiti South West local government Area of the state.

 

Dignitaries at the events include; the Special Adviser to the governor on Social Investment, Hon Yemisi Ayokunle ; the chairman of Ekiti South West LGA, Richard Apolola ; APC chairman in the LGA, Felix Olajide ; Ward 7 chairman, Sola Olugbade and other guests including Hon Sola Alausa from France.

The celebrated philanthropist, who was elated to join the ruling party in the state, noted that the activities and achievements of governor Biodun Oyebanji in the last one and half years were enough for her to join him for the development of the state.

 

 

 

According to her, she was committed to the progress and growth of the state, saying that she would support the state government in delivering his six-point agenda for the people of the state.

 

She commended her supporters and other residents of the council area for their unflinching support over the years in her quest to serve the people and contribute to humanity.

 

The decampee assured the APC leadership in the Ward, and state level of his commitment to follow the laid rules and procedures, in a bid to grow the party for future elections.

 

She said, “ Every time is a right time and the news we are hearing from diaspora about what the governor, Biodun Oyebanji is doing with his positive policies and development in the state.

 

“ We have been hearing and seeing a lot of developmental programs his government is doing and I would love to identify with his government and to bring about more support to his success for the betterment of our state.

“ I will be bringing to the APC rebuilding, transformation , advancement and movements and I will urge the people of Ekiti to operate in love and unity for us to drive this move to a safe land.”

 

She lauded the qualities of the former governorship aspirant, Mrs Kemi Elebute-Halle who had since joined the APC for her supports and encouragement, adding , “I am honored to have worked with her as a team and I carry her lessons with me as I step into this new political terrain.”

 

Speaking, the duo of Apalola and Ayokunle commended Femi-Ogun for her decision to join the APC , assuring her that all benefits as a member would be accorded to her team.

 

They maintained that the ruling party has demonstrated to be interested in the welfare and development of the citizens, calling on the people to continue to preach the gospel of the APC.

 

 

 

 

MEET HON MRS OMOLOLA FEMI-OGUN OMF

Born some decades ago in the old Ondo state,she attended the prestigious Fiwasaiye Girls Grammar School Akure for her O level certificate, she later proceeded to the Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti where she bagged an H.N.D in accounting in 1994, ln 1995 she did her compulsory NYSC in Chevron, Warri in Delta State, she also bagged a degree in Commerce and administration from University of Le Havre in France.

 

Working experience..MOF served in the Ondo& Ekiti state Judiciary as an accounting officer for 28years before her retirement, she attended the following institutions in France for further studies. FODENO formation civique in Le Harve and L’HAM association benevole on French.She is a marriage counselor and presently a director of the women ministers online global platform, she is also the initiator of Nigerian women association ( FLATOG) in France.

She is the founder of Omolola Mofe foundation ( O.M.F) in Nigeria, a foundation commited to taking care of the aged, widows, orphans and the vulnerables.

Hon Mrs Omolola Femi Ogun is a member of the lnstitute of Certified Public Accountants of Nigeria ( lCPAN).

Due to her passion towards humanity OMF joined politics as a member of the A.D.P where she contested as a member house of representative in South Federal constituency 1, in 2023.Till date as she’s set to join the ruling All Progressive Congress ( A.P.C) on Tuesday 23rd April 2024 in llawe Ekiti, her country home.

She is happily married to Mr Olufemi Odunayo Ogun, the marriage is blessed with God fearing kids.
