As Nigeria prepares for the nationwide protests against poor governance, suspected thugs have come out to threaten Lagos state residents against joining the protest.
RAYO POST reports that the nationwide protests tagged #EndBadGovernance will kick start on August 1 to August 10 2024.
Following the development, a video has emerged on social media showing thugs intimidating market traders on Lagos Island.
In a now trending video, the suspected thugs could be heard warning the people to desist from the planned protest as it might lead to more destruction than the 2020 #EndSARS protest.
“Anybody that is confident should come out on Thursday to protest. Are you the only one hungry? If you dare come out for the protest, you will be mercilessly dealt with,” the men in the video warned
