Delta Governor Oborewvori Dumps PDP for APC
• As Shetimma, Ganduje, Others To Receive Defectors on Monday
The Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborewvori and his supporters have decided to dump the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)
This was the outcome of the enlarged meeting of the party attended by stakeholders in Asaba on Wednesday.
Announcing the outcome of the meeting at a press conference in Asaba, the state commissioner for Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, flanked by Senator James Manager, a pioneer member of the party, disclosed that the Vice President, Kashim Shettima is expected to receive the governor and the entire structure of the PDP in the state.
Aniagwu described PDP, ” as a palm wine that has lost its taste.”
