Two traditional rulers in Ekiti state have been killed by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers on Monday
RAYOPOST learned that the two traditional rulers, the Elesun of Esun-Ekiti, Oba David Babatunde Ogunsakin and the Onimojo of Imojo-Ekiti, Oba Olatunde Samuel Olushola were ambushed and shot dead by the gunmen along OkeAko road, in Ikole local government area of the state.
It was also gathered that the Alara of Ara Ikole, Oba Fatoba who was traveling alongside with them escaped from the scene.
The Chairman of Ajoni LCDA, Hon. Michael Ogungbemi confirmed the attack and the killing of the two traditional rulers.
