In view of the lingering corruption cases among some officials and the need for cutting cost of governance , President Bola Tinubu has slashed the travel expenditures of public and civil servants by 60 percent.
RAYOPOST gathered that the presidential directives covered both domestic and international travels of the officials.
The presidential spokesman , Ajuri Ngalale said the president order would affect the presidency, office of the vice president, firstlady , ministers, ministeries, department and agencies of government.
It would be recalled that the president had on Monday suspended the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu over N585 million corruption scandal.
