The Lord Bishop of Diocese on the Coast, Anglican Communion, Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, Rt. Rev’d. Oluseyi Pirisola has performed the foundation laying ceremony of the 1,000-capacity event/civic center of St John’s The Baptist Anglican Church, Igbotako.
The ceremony which was attended by church member, clerics and other well wishers was performed at the premises of the church on Tuesday April 9,2024.
The Vicar in charge of the church, Venerable Oladejo Luji on behalf of the church commended Bishop Pirisola for finding time to lay the foundation for the construction of the event centre.
According to him, the hall when completed would serve as a means of generating income for the church, and most importantly be the worship center for the children.
Ven Luji said, ” I appreciate you all for your love and support. No doubt, God is able to finish what HE has started.
” Very soon, our children will have more space for worship, when the Hall is completed.”
