The Secretary General of the Association of Southern Nigerian Students (ASONIS), Comrade Amb Megbowon Olusola Ezekiel has lauded Senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan (Yayi) for his exceptional leadership in facilitating the successful passage of the FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY ILARO (ESTABLISHMENT) BILL 2024.
This monumental achievement, which marks a new chapter in the educational and economic history of Ogun State, is set to revolutionize access to higher education in the region, with a particular focus on the underserved YEWA communities in Ogun West Senatorial District.
COMRADE MEGBOWON described the passage of the bill as a strategic victory for Ogun State and Nigeria, praising SENATOR ADEOLA’s relentless efforts in championing this cause. The establishment of the FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY ILARO (FUTI) is poised to unlock new opportunities in STEM education, innovation, and research, benefiting not only the immediate communities in Ilaro and Ogun West but also the entire state and nation.
