The officers of the western Nigeria security network popularly called Amotekun Corps on the 12th June 2023, in quick response to the alarm of abduction of three pupils of signs & wonders Academy, off Ajebamidele, Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State.
The pupils who are Olutola God’streasure Oluwatomilola, Olutola Blessed Ayodeji and Olutola winner Oluwaniayowa were standing at the gate of the school waiting for their parent to pick them as usually when some men came in a black Honda Saloon car and forcefully dragged the 3 children into the car and drove away.
The alarm raised by the children caught the attention of the school security man who quickly alerted the Amotekun corps.
The corps chased the abductors who later abandoned the children and escaped.
The pupils were rescued and reunited with their parents.
Investigation is ongoing to arrest those behind the dastardly act.
The authorities of the school who confirmed the incident prayed the government to beef up more security at schools in the state and in Nigeria.
