The Chief Justice of Ondo state, Justice Odusola has sworn in Lucky Aiyedatiwa as the new governor of the state following the demise of Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
The ceremony which took place at the Cocoa conference centre of the governors office at about 5:30pm on Wednesday attracted stakeholders including religious and traditional rulers.
Delivering his Inaugural address as governor, Aiyedatiwa expressed regret over the death of his principal, describing him as a dogged and committed leader.
Aiyedatiwa while soliciting the support of the citizens, promised to build on the legacies of Akeredolu across all sectors of the state economy for the benefit of the citizens.
