A prominent son of Okeigbo and notable financier of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Felder Adeoye, has congratulated Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his victory at the Supreme Court, which on Wednesday affirmed his election as the duly elected governor of Ondo State.
In a statement released shortly after the apex court’s judgment, Dr. Felder described the ruling as a “landmark judgment” that reaffirms the will of the people and upholds the credibility of Nigeria’s democratic and judicial institutions.
“This landmark judgment is not only a vindication of the people’s mandate freely given on November 16, 2024, but also a strong affirmation of our judicial system’s integrity,” he stated.
He noted that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s consistent legal victories from the Election Petition Tribunal to the Court of Appeal, and now the Supreme Court underscore the legitimacy of his mandate and the overwhelming support he enjoys across the state.
Dr. Felder, a respected community leader and political stakeholder in the State, called on all residents of Ondo State, regardless of political affiliation, to support the Governor in his effort to deliver good governance and inclusive development.
“As a proud indigene of Okeigbo and a stakeholder in the APC, I join millions of our people in celebrating this legal and moral victory. I urge all well-meaning sons and daughters of Ondo State to rally around the governor in the interest of peace, progress, and prosperity,” he added
The APC stalwart expressed optimism that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration will continue to bring about positive transformation across all sectors of the state.
